  • Description

The Raster Input operator is used to read a raster image, usually from a file. (When accessing images from the Internet or some other non-file-based resource, a proxy file containing connection information is created through the Open Raster File dialog.)

Double-click the operator to open its configuration dialog. The Raster Input (see Raster Input (dialog)) dialog opens.

Filename

File

Filename of the raster file or proxy to be read.

Data Type

DataType

Desired data type for data read. If no value is provided, the file's native datal type will be used.

Interpolation

Interpolation Type

Desired type of interpolation. The defaults are bilinear interpolation for athematic images and nearest neighbor for thematic images.

Map Boundary

Boundary

A limiting boundary in the map coordinates of the source.

File Boundary

Boundary

A limiting boundary in the file coordinates of the source.

AOI

AOI

Filename of an area of interest file.

Recode

Table

For thematic images, a table to be used for recoding.

AttributesOnRasterOut

Boolean

Determines if attributes are attached to the output Raster. If true, they are. If false, the default, they are not. By default, this is set to true.

ReadMetadata

Boolean

Determine if the Metadata of the input file is read and set on the Metadata output port. If false, the Metadata will not be read. If true, the Metadata of the input will be read and used as an output.

RasterOut

Raster

The resulting output Raster.

Attribute Table

The Attribute Table of the output Raster.

Metadata

Metadata

The Metadata read from the input file if the ReadMetadata port is set to true.

NoData

List

A list of scalars listing bands containing NoData.
