  • Description

Create Dice Boundaries splits up the boundary of an image into smaller, regularly sized and spaced boundaries that can be used for subsetting. Neighboring new boundaries can overlap each other by an extent specified by the XOverlap and YOverlap ports.

There are four main modes of operation:

Original Image (2048 by 2048 pixels):

Firstly, if only an XSize and YSize are specified, butt-joining boundaries will be created of the specified size. For example, if a 2048 row by 2048 column raster is input and a XSize and YSize of 512 pixels each is specified, 16 boundaries (covering 512 pixels by 512 pixels each) will be created which abut each other (in a 4 by 4 array).
